Landscape Design

As arborists and plant health care professionals, we are constantly challenged to care for improperly installed and located plants. In general, landscape plantings are abnormal. Most plants we mix in our landscapes do not grow near each other in nature. Designing and installing landscapes requires an in depth knowledge of plants and their long term needs.

Landscape DesignWhen designing a landscape, consideration must be taken when choosing each plant. Soil structure, light requirements, insect and disease susceptibility, water needs, overall size, spacing, and plant compatibility are imperative for a well designed landscape. Planting depth, choosing whether or not to stake, removing burlap and baskets, preserving soil structure and careful handling are often overlooked when installing plants with a one year guarantee. As Certified Arborists, we bring a unique perspective to the design process.

We look at the long term desired effects of the landscape and selectLandscape Design Drawing plants that will be pest and disease resistant. We hand choose each plant and situate them in the proper locations so that they grow into the site and will not have to be drastically pruned or removed in a few years because they are overgrown. With a strong background in that will thrive for years and transform your property into the home of your dreams.
